‘This is now our third return to La Vele. Our stay has been as enjoyable as on previous occasions. The weather has been fantastic, so we have spent many lazy days by the pool, but even when the weather is not so favourable, there are plenty of things to do and see. We have already booked for half-term [2010], which must surely speak volumes to anyone contemplating a visit.’. |

JULY/AUGUST
‘Our fourth visit, and just as much fun!! We have done loads of activities: canoeing from St. Antonin, zip wire rides etc. at Le Cri de Tarzan. and Cap Decouverte... and also visited some fantastic places: Najac, Cordes, Castres, St. Antonin - all to be recommended. The gite has everything that we could possibly want, or need, and is definitely ‘home-from-home’ from the moment we arrive. Hope to see you again soon.’ |

| ‘Our first time at La Vele - hopefully not our last! A wonderful house in a fabulous location - one of the very best of the many in which we have stayed in France! We had everything we needed, and Eric and Sally were perfect hosts. We particularly enjoyed exploring the many surrounding villages, some of the recommended local walks, and canoeing, from Trebas-les-Bains to Ambiolet. The drive to Trebas is very picturesque, and the descent by canoe stunning - however, it is essential to book in advance. Hopefully, we will see you again.’ |

We have done some of the walks provided in the box of ‘interesting things to do and see’, and enjoyed the lovely countryside. The pool has been a major attraction, as has the BBQ, both being well used during our stay!! The accommodation and the facilities provided in the gite are excellent... and helped to make our holiday a real success.’ |
